  • Trauma Nurses Talk Tough:  TNTT

Trauma Nurses Talk Tough (TNTT) began in 1986.  This program was started by two trauma nurses and a flight nurse from Portland, Oregon and has grown to include EMT's, paramedics, physicians and other trainers.

The TNTT program features presentations that can be tailored to meet the needs of any and all audiences, from pre-schooled to adults. TNTT programs help people take control of the risks in their lives by teaching reasons for risk avoidance behavior, integrated with asset/skill building and empowerment education.

The presentations feature information on everything from the most basic safety information (how to cross the street and why to wear your bicycle helmet for young children) to adult classes with graphic images and subject matter of outcomes stemming from not wearing your seatbelt in a crash to not wearing a helmet in a motorcycle crash.
